BEST WEEK OF MY LIFE!
I drove to South Carolina for Caleb's graduation from Basic training for the Army. It was the greatest time of my life...so far. Mostly just because I got to see him again and every moment was great even if it was going wrong because I was with him. The first day was family day where families could come and spend the day with their soldiers on the base before their graduation. Everyone waited in the stands for their graduates and I got there JUST in time for their entrance. They blew some smoke bombs up and all the the soldiers came running out of the woods into the smoke yelling, then got into formation. It was pretty sweet. Everyone in the stands were screaming and it sounded like the coliseum when gladiators fight. It was crazy. I cried a little, but I had to hold it back because of the crowd. It just hit me that I was actually about to see him.
What a handsome fellow.
He actually got to put his talents to use while he was there which doesn't happen often. He painted a new banner for his platoon.
Lunch time. I could have taken pictures of him all day, but no one would appreciate them but me.
